The deposit will not be less than the estimated prepaid travel costs and will be deducted from the final invoice.

Urgent rate = listed rate × 1.20
Urgent or short-notice inspection assignments are subject to a 20% surcharge.
Severe Winter Conditions
Winter surcharge = up to 15%

Advance Travel Deposit
Advance deposit = 50% or estimated prepaid travel costs, whichever is higher
For assignments requiring advance travel bookings, a 50% advance travel deposit is required before flights, accommodation or transport are booked. The deposit will not be less than the estimated prepaid travel costs and will be deducted from the final invoice.
Combined urgent + winter surcharge = up to 35% of the listed base rateIf both urgent or short-notice conditions and severe winter conditions apply, the surcharges are added to the listed base rate, up to a combined 35%.
Pricing Notes
How is a two-day assignment calculated?
The two-day column is a rate per inspection day. For example, €580 / day means €1,160 for two inspection days before VAT.
How is an urgent inspection priced?
A 20% surcharge is added to the applicable inspection rate.
When can the winter surcharge apply?
Up to 15% may be added when severe snow, storms, difficult road conditions or transport disruption materially increase travel time or cost.
How does the advance travel deposit work?
When flights, accommodation or transport must be booked in advance, the deposit is 50% of the quoted assignment value or the estimated prepaid travel costs, whichever is higher. The deposit is deducted from the final invoice.
Can urgent and winter surcharges apply together?
Yes. Both are calculated from the listed base rate and the combined surcharge can be up to 35%.
How are other Nordic destinations priced?
Other Nordic destinations are quoted separately based on the inspection location and travel requirements.
