Practical questions

Is an ITP always required?

Not every assignment uses an ITP, but when one exists it is a useful reference for inspection checkpoints and responsibilities.

Which drawing revision should be used?

The current approved project/manufacturing revision supplied for the inspection should be used.

Should supplier records be sent before the visit?

Key records can be shared in advance when practical, especially if they affect inspection planning or acceptance checks.
